Hayling Island Sunset

posted in: New Product | 0

Although Hayling Island is fairly close to me I sometimes forget what it has to offer, a Sunday afternoon drive just happened to end up here, I’d been here before however to beach reinforcement works I couldn’t gain access to the rocks. Late in March the weather was just warming up there were half a dozen or so surfers just out of frame to the left of me, and i could see al sorts of colours bouncing of the rocks and reflected in the water, the tricky part of shooting something like this is getting the camera low enough but high enough that it wont get wet if a bigger wave appears you also have to watch for the tide encroaching on you as you sit and wait for the sun to drop. It was a very pleasant sunset with lots of families playing on the beach, this is the first of 2 images taken from this spot and i have a third taken about 20 minutes later from another location, check back soon to see if you can spot them.
This image is now available in the print shop prices starting at £25 for a 12×8 fine art print mounted ready to be framed.
